This training will explain military-related immigration topics, including the special rules for naturalization based upon military service, Selective Service requirements for nonimmigrants who are out of status, special rules for clients in removal proceedings who have served in the military, and immigration benefits for family members of U.S. military personnel. The training will be conducted by Margaret D. Stock, Esq., Attorney with the law firm of Lane Powell in Anchorage, Alaska, and former Associate Professor in the Department of Social Sciences at the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York.
- CLE Credit Comments: CLE credit: 3 credits in professional practice. This course provides transitional credit for newly admitted attorneys and non-transitional credit for experienced attorneys.
