An Army servicemember stationed overseas has had her two children living with her for the past year. Though her former spouse has legal custody, he had agreed to the living arrangement. The servicemember, however, is still obligated to pay child support under the existing Polk County court orders, and she has been paying support even though the children live with her. She has filed pro se for a modification of custody and child support, and the former spouse has hired a lawyer to oppose this. The servicemember needs pro bono counsel to help her proceed with her case.
