An Army soldier seeks pro bono assistance with a consumer law issue involving a car loan. The soldier defaulted on her car loan, and the car was repossessed. The soldier set up a repayment plan with the creditor to pay the remaining balance of the loan and gave the lender an updated address when she relocated. However, the soldier never received notice of non-payment nor did she receive notice of judgment. The creditor has since been uncooperative in providing the proof of notice to the soldier’s current address.
