A Navy servicemember seeks pro bono assistance with a consumer law matter. The Sailor bought a vehicle with a 50/50 warranty. Shortly after the purchase, the car’s engine failed, and the Sailor paid the dealership half of the cost to replace the engine. The dealership never made the repairs and eventually went bankrupt, and sent the car to another dealership to make the repairs. The second dealership sold the car pursuant to a storage lien. The sailor would like to pursue the appropriate remedy for his loss.
