An Army servicemember seeks pro bono assistance with a divorce that will involve child custody. The servicemember recently returned from a deployment overseas. While he was overseas, his wife left their child with the child’s grandmother, and left the state to live with her new boyfriend. The soldier would like to file for divorce and get a custody order in place, both are expected to be uncontested.
