The spouse of an Air Force servicemember seeks pro bono assistance with a divorce and child custody matter due to domestic abuse. The client currently has a military protective order in place against her husband due to physical, verbal, and financial abuse. The children have also been abused by their father and the client seeks full custody of the children based on this abuse, and she anticipates that the custody will not be contested. There may be a question as to jurisdiction due to recent moves by both parties.
