A Marine Corps servicemember seeks pro bono assistance with a dispute involving her mother-in-law. The Marine’s future mother-in-law agreed to take out a loan with the Marine to help fund the Marine’s upcoming wedding. The mother-in-law instructed the Marine to attach the mother in law’s bank account to the loan so she could make payments to the loan. Once the loan amount was deposited, the mother-in-law absconded to another state with the money, and she has refused to make payments or refund the loan amount. The Marine seeks pro bono assistance to seek the appropriate remedy.
