An Army servicemember seeks pro bono assistance with a consumer matter involving a car dealership. The soldier recently purchased a car and financed the vehicle through the dealership. The contract stated that it was “the entire agreement between the parties.” However, the car dealership called the soldier several times after the sale and demanded that she pay an additional down payment or return the car. She refused to do so, as she was in compliance with the sale contract. The dealership continued to contact her and threaten to have her arrested, then repossessed her car without the proper paperwork. She seeks legal assistance to pursue the proper remedy.
