An Army servicemember seeks pro bono assistance to defend against a defamation lawsuit. The soldier was pulled over and had his vehicle towed by police as there was a question as to whether the car was properly insured. The soldier’s sister-in-law then went to retrieve the car and had a bad experience with a local towing company, and thereafter wrote a negative review on Google about the company. The towing company is now suing the soldier and his sister-in-law and her husband for defamation and emotional damages due to the review and are claiming nearly $100,000 in damages. The soldier seeks pro bono assistance to defend against the suit. (#23038)
