ABA Military Pro Bono Project

An Army servicemember seeks pro bono assistance with a custody matter. The soldier has an ongoing custody modification case in another state in which she lives with her children as the primary custodian. However, the court in the other state has refused to move forward until Florida holds a UCCJEA hearing, as the initial custody order was entered in Florida. The soldier seeks assistance to resolve any issues in Florida, so she can continue the proceedings in her home state.
