ABA Military Pro Bono Project

An Army servicemember seeks pro bono assistance with a possible guardianship or adoption case. The soldier has a niece who has lived with her for several years. The child’s mother passed away several years ago, and the child’s father has not had any meaningful involvement in the child’s life. The soldier seeks to gain the legal authority necessary to continue to provide for her niece.
