ABA Military Pro Bono Project

An Air Force servicemember seeks pro bono assistance with an issue involving a Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) violation. The Airman was recently sued by a plaintiff alleging fraud, which the Airman denies, but when the Airman requested an SCRA continuance, it was denied and a default judgment was entered. The Airman seeks pro bono help to have the judgment vacated, and to fight the underlying lawsuit, before his wages are garnished.
