The ABA Military Pro Bono Project recently reached a very exciting milestone: since the Project’s launch in 2008, it has placed 2,000 pro bono cases with volunteer attorneys. Further, over $13 million in estimated donated billable hours have been provided across the U.S. since the Project’s launch in 2008. These cases involve a variety of legal issues, including family law matters, creditor and consumer issues, landlord-tenant disputes, and others. Thank you to volunteer attorneys who helped reach this incredible milestone. With the help of volunteer attorneys, our servicemembers can better focus on defending and protecting our country!

Get involved! Military attorneys can sign up to submit case referrals for servicemember clients to the Military Pro Bono Project, which works to place the cases with volunteer attorneys throughout the United States. Volunteer attorneys can sign up to received notices about open pro bono cases. Both military attorneys and volunteer attorneys can also get involved with the program’s Operation Stand-By, a list of attorneys who can provide attorney-to-attorney guidance.

Thank you to the Military Pro Bono Project’s financial supporters who make this possible.
