A Navy servicemember seeks pro bono assistance to vacate a default judgment entered in violation of the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA). After the sailor’s dog bit a guest at her home, the victim sued the sailor. However, she was on active duty at the time of the suit and did not receive notice of the lawsuit, which ended in a default judgment against the sailor.
